Dr Zandi, received Senate Award for Early Career Excellence in Learning and Teaching in 2016 from University of Sheffield Vice Chancellor, Prof Keith Burnett.
“I would like to thank you. During this term, you made the subject of chemical engineering interesting to me after I have lost all the motivation. I failed last year at the University of Birmingham, I found it too tough and it did not make sens to me. However, the way you are approaching it, including real life study cases all the time, made the subject clearer to me and gave me the motivation to carry on this year..”
